Partway up the slopes of Haleakala in the Kula area is the Kula Botanical Garden, a little-known joy for visitors. It is well worth the short detour on the way up the mountain to the crater. Just continue on HWY 377 about 2 miles past HWY 378 (the Crater Road) . It is on the left (uphill) side. Spend an hour relaxing and enjoying the wonderful garden! We loved it.

I only knew a few of the names, so please excuse the lack of proper captions
