Centrally located on the Island just above Ma'alaea Harbor and just a short walk from our Kana'i A Nalu Condo is the new Maui Ocean Center. We loved it. See the Ma'alaea map link for how to get there. It features a wonderfully presented set of live and informational displays, and they boast the largest tropical underwater display in the Western Hemisphere. You can definitely explore Hawaii's underwater life without getting your hair wet. There's a great gift shop and restaurant. It is well worth the admission price of 18.50 for adults and 12.50 for ages 3-12. Senior discounts are available. A shopping center featuring additional shops and restaurants is adjacent.
